Woodcock hunting in Croatia, in our reserves near Split (Knin or Korenica area): depending on weather conditions, numerous reserves are available both in the mountains and on the plains, for a total of approximately 100,000 hectares of ideal habitat for the queen of the forest. In our reserves, 10-12 woodcocks are normally encountered per day per group of hunters. On the best days, up to 15-20 woodcocks are harvested per day per hunter, and on exceptional days even 30. The area can be reached by car along the Trieste-Rijeka-Split (Knin) motorway, 350 km from Trieste, or by ferry from Ancona to Split (2 connections per week).
