Sea bass fishing in the Venice lagoon with Lagoon Venice Fishing Experience: these waters are home to sea bass, bluefish, sea bream, leerfish and, with a bit of luck, many other fish. Depending on the species you are looking for, you can dedicate yourself to spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing or more specific techniques for this area. Captain Claudio also offers fly fishing. The outing is suitable for the whole family: children are welcome, they must wear a life jacket (check that the correct size is available), and personal snacks are allowed on board. You will cast lines from a 19-foot (5.8 m) Laguna center console, with capacity for 2 passengers and equipped with downriggers and all the essentials. Rods, reels, tackle, and bait are included. On board you will find a First Mate who will help you organize the excursion in the best possible way — it is customary to leave him a 10-20% tip to show appreciation. The daily fishing license is included in the boat rental. Remember that some species may have special regulations or limited seasons, so if in doubt, ask the captain. It is recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen (non-spray): drinks and light snacks are included on board, but you can inform the captain if you prefer to bring your own drinks — alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
