Fly fishing and spinning in Piedmont with AIGUPP guide

Italy

A guided fishing day in Piedmont, near Vercelli, among mountain streams, valleys, and tranquil waters, together with Andrea Carando, an official fishing guide. You can fly fish or spin fish (the rate is the same) in search of marble trout, brown trout, rainbow trout, and arctic char, in wild environments far from the crowds. Andrea's passion for water has accompanied him since childhood: at seven years old, he held his first rod, and since then, fishing has become a part of him. Today, every outing is an adventure, an encounter with the most authentic nature. He specializes in three techniques: spinning, for trout in mountain streams and valleys, but also for pike, barbel, and asp; carp fishing, in the calm waters of lakes and rivers; fly fishing, with dry flies and streamers, for those who love the poetry of the cast. For Andrea, fishing is an authentic experience, made of respect for the environment and its inhabitants. His goal is to provide genuine emotions and accompany every angler in discovering pristine waters and wild fish, because fishing is not just about catching: it means feeling connected to nature and free. Fishing is done on foot, without a boat: be prepared to walk for part of the outing and dress according to the weather, with layered clothing and suitable footwear; also bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and water. Snacks and drinks (water and non-alcoholic beverages) are included during the activity, and transfer is included. Children are welcome: ask Andrea if he has life jackets in their size, or bring them from home. Andrea has also accompanied primary school classes on an educational day in Val Mastallone. Andrea practices and promotes catch and release: releasing is the rule. Only in exceptional cases, and if the stretch of water and fishing regulations allow it, it may be possible to keep a trophy fish. The rate is 400 € per person for the full day. Discounts are available for groups, which you can select in the additional services section by indicating the number of people. Equipment (rods, reels, artificial lures, and fly fishing gear) is subject to a fee and can be added from the additional services. For those seeking an even more authentic and refined experience, Andrea can accompany you to the best local producers in the valleys: exceptional artisanal honey, renowned local saffron, and a selection of traditional cured meats and cheeses. Lunch is not included in the guide's fee, but Andrea can organize and book everything for you, in the place you prefer. The fishing licence is included in the rate, and Andrea will help you comply with local regulations. Write to Andrea with any questions and to arrange the meeting point on the day of the outing, then book your fishing day in Piedmont on Wildoora.
