Depart from Hurghada for a fishing trip on the Red Sea alongside Captain Karim, a jigging and popping specialist. The Red Sea waters are home to over 200 species and are a popular destination for sport anglers: the best season for yellowfin tuna is from January to June, but with a bit of luck, you can also encounter mahi-mahi, swordfish, and sailfish. Fishing takes place aboard a 35-foot local center console, powered by two 250 HP Yamaha V6 engines and designed for a maximum of 4 anglers. The boat features an enclosed head, GPS, fishfinder, live bait well, multimedia system, and cooler. Rods, reels, and bait are included, as is the fishing licence. During the day, breakfast with sandwiches, salad, and a light lunch are served, along with water, coffee, tea, and fresh juice; there's also a grill on deck. If you wish, you can snorkel with the onboard equipment between drops. At the end of the trip, the captain cleans and fillets the catch up to 10 kg. For those who desire, it's possible to extend the experience with an overnight stay on board in a sleeping bag. The experience is suitable for children aged 7 and up, with life jackets provided. The catch is yours to keep, but catch and release is possible; for species covered by IGFA rules, release is mandatory. Blue Bird Charter is owned by Khaled Mourad and managed by Captain Mahmoud. The team has been active for over 10 years, with approximately 20 years of fishing experience in Egyptian waters, and carries on a family tradition in Hurghada. Captain Mahmoud has been a multiple champion of the Egyptian Sport Fishing Federation, a guarantee for those who want to pursue their dream catch. The crew consists of Captains Kareem E. and Khaled M. and First Officer Ahmed A.
