Why Argentina

The destination is Entre Ríos province, about 3 hours from Buenos Aires international airport (Ministro Pistarini, Ezeiza). It is a 5-day small-game programme in the same territory, with hunting guides.

Game and seasons

Seasons are set by local rules and can change. For this destination:

How it works

• The programme: 3 mornings of duck hunting, with doves in the afternoon, and 2 mornings of partridge and hare hunting. On all 5 afternoons you hunt doves, parrots and wood pigeons.
• The hunting: always in the same place, within a radius of 5-10 square kilometres, with a dog for partridges for every 2 or 3 hunters.
• The gun: included, a Beretta, according to the agency.
• Support: 24 hours a day, with Italian staff.
• Prices: they vary with the number of hunters. For example €2,600 each for 4 to 6 hunters and €2,900 with 3 hunters; the price for smaller parties is on the package page.

Documents and firearms

The rules are set by the authorities and differ from country to country. If a package does not say which documents are included, ask the agency. In general, organisers ask for:

• ID card or passport (for some destinations, a copy to be sent in advance).
• A valid hunting licence from your own country.
• Hunting insurance valid abroad.
• If you bring your own gun: the firearm paperwork and, for hunters from EU countries, the European Firearms Pass listing the guns (usually two at most). Hunters living outside the EU should ask the agency what applies to them.

The required documents, the procedures for bringing or renting a gun and the entry rules depend on your nationality and the package you choose. If they are not shown on the package page, ask the agency before booking.
